Redwood Veterinary Hospital was established in 1978 with a simple, straight-forward mission:
Provide the highest quality, most comtemporary veterinary health care to Vallejo area pets.
Over the years, as Vallejo has grown, the demand for comprehensive, state-of-the-art animal health care has also grown.
We continuously strive to meet these demands.
For 25 years Redwood Veterinary Hospital has successfully achieved accreditation
by the American Animal Hospital Association (A.A.H.A). This accreditation requires regular on-site
evaluations based on the highest standards in veterinary medicine, and puts us in an elite group of only 110 hospitals,
throughout the United States and Canada, that have achieved this honor for 25 years or more.
Even the best veterinary health care is of no value if you can't get an appointment. For your convenience,
we are open 7 days a week and many days until 7 pm!

Did you know that Redwood Veterinary Hospital is closed every other Thursday from 8:30am to 11:30am for in-hopsital training and meetings? These special hours allow our team to meet in small groups initially then convene for a larger full staff meeting to discuss issues we face day to day in the clinic. We also use these meetings for in-depth training for all levels of the medical and service team. Our belief is that by meeting frequently and encouraging all team members to contribute, we are able to address the many challenges we face as a contemporary veterinary hospital. Ultimately, we hope these meetings result in better care and service for our patients and their families. Please let us know if there is a topic you think we should address at one of our meetings.
