How the development of our new facility will benefit the City and citizens of Vallejo:

• Our Hospital's long reputation for quality veterinary health care: Established in 1978, Redwood Veterinary Hospital's five-doctor practice has long been the flagship veterinary practice in Vallejo. It's been said we are the "Standard bearer" for quality veterinary care and service in Solano County. The companion animals of Vallejo need and deserve the very best, most contemporary care available.
  
  
• Moving our hospital to the new site would help alleviate traffic: At our current location we have tremendous traffic problems with our clients getting into and out of our parking lot. In fact, just last month one of our clients was involved in an accident as she tried to exit our parking lot into the heavy traffic on Admiral Callaghan Lane.
  
  
• Employment-dollars stay in the local economy: Redwood Veterinary Hospital currently employs nearly thirty people. Our employees earn excellent salaries, with full benefits such as medical, retirement, and long term disability insurance. With our planned new facility we expect to substantially increase our employee number, quite possibly by 50-100%. Almost all of our employees live and spend locally so their earnings contribute to our local economy.
  
  
• Image builder for our community: One of the most exciting aspects of our new facility is the wonderfully positive image it will create of Vallejo for the many thousands of motorists passing through our town on Interstate 80. This very beautiful and highly visible facility will be an excellent contribution to Vallejo's promising and bright future.
